Based in Leith, Edinburgh I am a visual artist primarily working with the domestic environment.

Focusing mainly upon furniture and ornament I explore the use of reproduction and preservation.

Creating two and three dimensional pieces my current work is based around domestic craft and vintage objects and interiors.

Modernisation and change inspire me to create artworks that present a narrative for our domestic past.

Referencing the make up of the dwelling and the effects of human intervention I explore the traditional alongside the alternative kitsch aesthetic.

Overall I create accessible and familiar pieces that have a distinct homely feel working with such objects as the c.1960’s swivel chair, c.1950’s cocktail sticks and the now iconic imagery of the three flying ducks, the swallow and the anchor.
